This book is suitable for those who want to learn English from beginner to advanced level. This is one of my favorite IELTS listening books because it divides the listening route for beginner to advanced listeners to listen and catch up with the listening tracks. After each lesson, there is a multiple-choice test to help you consolidate your knowledge and test your level. Not only that, the useful tips in the book also gives you practice listening tips and the most effective listening test. Listening for IELTS Collin This is also my favorite book because in each Unit, the exercises are very diverse and divided into small parts to help learners easily absorb them. The steps for doing the exercises are simple and easy to understand. At the end of each unit, there are identical exercises in the real exam to help you get familiar with the test.

Not only does it provide you with the best IELTS Listening exam, but the special feature of this book is that each test has a transcript for you to split into small listening, so it will be easy to practice listening and taking notes. Besides, experiences and strategies for listening will be provided to help you apply in the review process effectively. However, the amount of exercises for the Listening part is not much. Because only when you know the pronunciation, you can hear that word, right? Therefore, besides practicing listening to English every day, you need to especially improve your speaking skills. Because of understanding the needs of young people who are studying and want to use English fluently, Testuru has launched a speaking practice application with foreigners - English Talk - an environment for learning and practicing English with young people around the world.

F Audio script You will hear the librarian of a new town library talking to a group of people who are visiting the library. OK everyone. So here we are at the entrance to the town library. My name is Ann, and I'm the chief librarian here, and you'll usually find me at the desk just by the main entrance here. So I'd like to tell you a bit about the way the library is organised, and what you'll find where … and you should all have a plan in front of you. Well, as you see my desk is just on your right as you go in, and opposite this the first room on your left has an excellent collection of reference books and is also a place where people can read or study peacefully. Just beyond the librarian's desk on the right is a room where we have up to date periodicals such as newspapers and magazines and this room also has a photocopier in case you want to copy any of the articles. If you carry straight on you'll come into a large room and this is the main library area. There is fiction in the shelves on the left, and non-fiction materials on your right, and on the shelves on the far wall there is an excellent collection of books relating to local history.

And what I'm going to present in this seminar is a few ideas about how the activity is likely to change in the next ten years. It isn't a scientific, statistical analysis - just some ideas for us to discuss. Consumers will have much more choice - for instance, food products sold in Australia might be manufactured in the USA, China, Finland and dozens of other countries. At the same time, mergers and takeovers mean that governments are actually losing power to major global corporations. We can probably all think of companies that exert a great deal of influence, which may be good for consumers. A third point I want to make about markets is that in the rapidly expanding economies, such as India. Brazil and Russia, demand is growing very fast. This is putting pressure on resources all over the world. I think businesses are becoming more open to external influences.

Companies are finding out what they want and providing it, instead of making products and then trying to sell them, which is the model of years ago. Another influence is that concerns about the environment will force manufacturers to extend product, lifecycles, to reduce the amount of pollution and waste. And in some cases, regulation will need to be strengthened.
